Vision: With a heritage listing on the front of the property, the goal was to embrace the past while also developing a future-fit home.

Approach: Our focus was on getting light into once dark areas in the original part of the building, and unfolding a seamless journey from the period frontage through to the contemporary rear. Surprising ‘light courts’ offer unexpected garden views, and the old rear garage is now an enviable studio. 

Outcome: A statement inner-city home that embraces unique ways of capturing light and has an urban retreat for guests.
