Vision: The design of this inner Melbourne property was inspired by modern minimalist aesthetics. The owners wanted a home that blends a contemporary exterior with a relaxed interior, offering plenty of space for family gatherings and private retreats.

Approach: This project was a new build from the ground up, allowing us to fine-tune the design without the constraints often encountered in renovation projects. The clients brief prioritised creating distinct yet connected areas for work, living, and play. The ground floor houses the main living spaces, the parents' bedroom retreat, and a study. The first floor features the children's bedrooms, another study, and an additional living area. Large sliding doors can be used to close off areas for privacy when needed. A central staircase with two-story glass walls connects the ground and first floors, enhancing the sense of openness between levels.

Outcome: This home reimagines minimalist style with a fresh perspective, featuring a functional floorplan designed to accommodate the family's needs for years to come.
