Vision: A couple wanted a private and relaxing holiday home/second residence that also had ample space to welcome their grown-up children and friends for beach getaways.

Approach: To meet both needs, we created a first floor that acts like a generous apartment, hosting the master bedroom with ensuite, kitchen, living and dining space. A day bed offers a spot of luxury, while a wrap-around balcony is designed for the ocean views. Downstairs has three spacious guest rooms and a home office. It also features a large lounge and dining room that opens onto outdoor decking with more beach views, and a luxurious swimming pool.

Outcome: A contemporary beachside home that can be easily scaled up and down in terms of how it is used.
